Forming in the wake of founder and principal songwriter Jason “J.D.” Webb’s 2023 EP release “Royal St. Ann Burgundy”, The Good God Damn band is a testament to grit and soul as conveyed by howling lead vocals, sweeping violin and lead guitar, rolling keys, and gripping rhythm section.

Altogether the band evokes sounds deeply rooted in Americana and Indie Rock. Whether performing their own original compositions or putting a unique spin on a selection of covers J.D. Katie Dill has been writing music and performing professionally since she was 15 years old. At the ripe age of 35 she has written over 200 songs, released many albums, been written up by Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, and has written and performed three one-women comedy shows, sometimes under the direction of Ron Lynch of Bob’s Burgers fame. Ms. Dill studied comedy at Second City LA and Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre NYC and LA, and studied clowning under the direction of Philip Burgers aka Dr. Brown, winner of Edinburgh Comedy Award. She is currently working on several music albums and a new one-woman musical comedy show for kids and families titled “Katie Dill’s Country Pickles Wild West Review”, featuring Ms. Dill as her character Pickles the Cowgirl.
