About The Event
Justin Trawick has been a staple of the Washington, DC music scene since 2006, crafting a sound rooted in Americana, alt-folk, and modern roots influences like Bob Schneider, Old Crow Medicine Show, G. Love, Greensky Bluegrass, and David Gray. His songwriting — raw, poetic, and grounded in real life storytelling — earned him “Song of the Year” at the Washington Area Music Awards for his single “All the Places That I’ve Been.”
Performing both solo and with his band Justin Trawick and The Common Good, Trawick has shared stages with Suzanne Vega, Wyclef Jean, Brett Dennen, Blues Traveler, and many more, and has appeared at festivals including DelFest, Charm City Bluegrass, Floyd Yoga Jam, and the NHL Stadium Series. During the pandemic, his livestream projects, secret backyard concerts, and original releases drew national media attention from CNN, Reuters, Washington Post, Parade Magazine, and American Songwriter.
