Lesson Program Policy

At The Listening Booth, we’re proud to offer consistent, personalized music instruction for students of all ages. To keep the program running smoothly for everyone, please take a moment to review the following policies:
 

Scheduling & Consistency

• Lessons are held once per week at a recurring, consistent time.
  For example: if your lesson is Sundays from 12:00–12:30 PM, that will remain your weekly time unless otherwise arranged.

• Lessons are offered in 30-minute ($35) or 60-minute ($70) formats.
  Voice and Songwriting lessons are always scheduled for one hour.

Cancellations & Makeups

• If you need to cancel, you must provide notice by at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson.

• Same-day cancellations will be considered forfeited and no credit will be issued.

• If proper notice is given, a lesson credit will be issued.

• If a makeup is not possible within the month, the credit will be applied to the next bill.

• Lesson credits must be used by the end of the following calendar month. Example: A credit from June must be used by July 31.

• Instructors will do their best to offer a makeup time when possible.

Payments & Late Fees

• Invoices are sent out one week before the start of the next month’s lessons.

• Payment is due upon receipt. Checks should be made payable to We’re Listening, Inc.

• Invoices that are more than 14 days past due will incur a $35 late fee and may result in temporary removal from the schedule until the balance is paid.

• Due to limited availability, lesson time slots cannot be held for students with unpaid balances.

Credit Card Surcharge

• As of September 2025, a small surcharge will apply to credit card payments.

• This helps offset rising transaction fees and allows us to keep our lesson rates stable and competitive.
