About The Event

Hiroya Tsukamoto is a Japanese-born fingerstyle guitarist who moved to the United States in 2000 to attend the Berklee College of Music. Needless to say, he’s not only a dizzyingly agile fingerpicker, but a soulful and transcendent performer, with compositions that combine instrumental guitar work with lyrical performance and spoken stories from his life. Tsukamoto has been recognized for his talents on stages such as at Blue Note in New York City, Japanese National Television and United Nations, and by scoring second place two times at the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship in 2018 and 2022.

“Fingerpicking is delicate, fluid, and beautifully detailed" -Acoustic Guitar magazine “Hiroya Tsukamoto has an orchestra at his fingertips” -Lansing City Pulse "Hiroya Tsukamoto takes us to an impressionistic journey " -Boston Herald "...chops, passion and warmth. Zealously recommended!"   -JazzReview.com

-------------

Tyler Greene is a force in music. Unafraid to stray into any genre, he self produces all of his own records. The new EP, This Is 2020/1?!? explores a harder edged sound unheard on any previous release. As a concept EP, it explores the blurring of the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 - and some of the reasons why that may have happened - ultimately ending with a light at the end of the tunnel, in the synth pop smash, Liquid Thought. Throughout his musical career, Greene has focused on live performance, playing in various cover bands and original projects, before finding a home with his current lineup - Tyler Greene & Friends.

'Strong vocals, songwriting, & guitar, with live looping all wrapped up in one'
