About The Event
Sol Knopf is an award winning singer/songwriter and solo performer from the state of Delaware in the USA. Sol is best known for his distinctive baritone voice and timeless original songs. With over 7,000 performances in his career, Sol has been a mainstay in the Delaware music scene for 40 + years. Sol’s early career highlights include appearing on National TV (TNN’s "You Can Be a Star”) in 1987, opening Silver Fox recording Studios in Dover, DE in 1988 and becoming lead guitarist for Atlantic Records recording artists Mike Hines and the Look in 1990. In 1995 Sol met hit songwriter Doug James (best know for writing “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You?” with Michael Bolton) who then played a big role in helping to develop Sol’s lyric writing. In 2007 Sol released his first full length album "Patience & Time”. Produced by friends Knappy and Dave Simmons.…
