About The Event
Just Add Water (JAW) is Yale’s first, worst, best and only musical improv comedy troupe. They do long-form, short-form and musical improvisation. This means they make up short scenes, longer multi-scene stories, and songs completely on the spot. They rely on audience suggestions for inspiration and create the rest on the fly.
The14-member troupe has performed at The Second City in Chicago and other comedy clubs throughout the nation. The troupe was founded by Steve Bowdon and Jo Miller. Both went on to be writers for the "Daily Show with Jon Stewart." Steve eventually rose to co-executive producer of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" and Jo went on to be the executive producer of "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee."
