About The Event
🎤 Sweet Leda (Julie Cymek & Jaime Horrigan) is a Maryland-based band led by powerhouse vocalist Julie Cymek and bassist Jaime Horrigan. The band blends new-school funk, psychedelic rock, soul, and pop into a high-energy experience with a sound often described as “Zeppelin meets Chili Peppers.”
Julie’s commanding stage presence and sultry vocal delivery—reminiscent of Janis Joplin and Mary J. Blige—combine with Jaime’s deep groove to keep crowds moving all night long.
Sweet Leda has earned multiple regional music awards and shared stages with acts like 311, Jefferson Starship, Lake Street Dive, and G. Love. Their music has also been featured in film and TV.
