About The Event
Friends and Folklore is a collaborative touring project created by four members of the Annapolis-based Songbird Collective - Laura Brino, Meg Murray, Madisun Bailey & Carly Winter. Blending harmony, storytelling, and mutual admiration, this super-group debuted in the summer of 2025, blending folk, pop, country and soul, electrifying listening rooms across the Mid-Atlantic.
Carly Winter is a rising 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Annapolis, Maryland, known for her soulful, lyric-driven country-folk and pop music. She is a rapidly emerging artist in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) scene, noted for her storytelling, with singles like "Wildfire" and "Growing Pains" and her recent release, "Good Time, Sunshine" recorded in Nashville. Carly's is preparing for upcoming performances at major venues such as The Listening Booth and Rams Head On Stage, before she leaves in the fall for college in Nashville.
Madisun Bailey, singer-songwriter from Maryland, cultivates a distinctive style fusing soul, alt jazz, and funk,
