About The Event
A pioneer in the "all-female" rock band genre and a hot item on the Philadelphia rock music menu in the early to mid 1980's, with a return to the music scene from 2011-2019, The Girlfriends briefly reunited in 2024 for a benefit concert…and are coming back again in 2025!
Featuring bassist Robin Rohr, drummer Jill Brady, guitarist Kim Butler and keyboardist/trumpeter Marge Connelly, The Girlfriends plays a mix of original material as well as a selection of classic covers from all decades.
Locally the band has performed at Freeman Stage, The Pond, Rehoboth Ale House, Paradise Grille and Pub, as well as lending their talents to countless benefits.
